There are about 1.2 million Pakistanis living in the UAE, which makes them the second largest expat group in the country. Additionally, it is the third-largest overseas Pakistani community in the world, after Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. It is regrettable that for a long time, the government neglected the overseas Pakistani community or ignored them completely. The offshore Pakistani community had no option until the end of 2019 to renew their passport online in Dubai.
In recent days, however, thanks to the newly appointed government, which has developed a new online system that will allow Pakistani expatriates to renew their passports without having to go to the office in person. In my opinion, the Pakistani online passport renewal system is incredibly effective, precise, and fast, which can allow the entire process to take no longer than 16 minutes to complete. That’s right, that’s true. E-service offers so much more; online payments and passport delivery at your preferred location are also available at an additional charge (additional shipping fees will apply).

How to Renew a Pakistani Passport in Dubai? (Off-Line)
There is absolutely no doubt that by providing e-service for passport renewal, it is a fantastic initiative for overseas Pakistanis. There is no doubt about this. As a matter of fact, the majority of users truly appreciate this step and prefer to use it whenever they can. It is however important to keep in mind that a great number of Pakistani expatriates living in UAE either work in a low-category of jobs or are not very comfortable with internet payments.
There is a very good chance that the person doesn’t have an online payment facility, which is very important for online renewals. For those users who fall into this category, there is yet another way to renew their passports, and that is by visiting the embassy or consulate general of Pakistan. As you can imagine, this is both a lengthy and complex process.
Note: I highly suggest you take an appointment before visiting your desired office. Your entry might be rejected if you’ve not booked an appointment before the visit.
