I’m so lucky to live in Dubai and have the chance to explore all the amazing Dubai beaches! But, out of all the beaches I’ve visited in Dubai, Kite Beach is definitely one of my favorites. It’s like, the perfect combination of fun, relaxation, and adventure all rolled into one!
First of all, the energy at Kite Beach is just infectious. Everyone’s always smiling and having a good time! Then, there’s the views – oh man, the views are just stunning! You can see the city skyline and the ocean, and it’s like, the perfect spot to take some amazing photos.
From early morning until sunset, the beach is buzzing with energy. The sand is so white and soft, and the water is this gorgeous turquoise color. But what really makes Kite Beach special is atamsphere. You’ll see families with kids, solo travelers, and adventure seekers with different culture all hanging out together. You’ll hear kids laughing and playing along the shoreline, and see friends and couples chillin’ on beach mats, soaking up the sun.

Kitesurfing
I’ll never forget my first kitesurfing experience at Kite Beach. As I strapped on the harness and felt the kite lift off the ground, a rush of adrenaline coursed through my veins. The wind whipped through my hair as I struggled to balance on the board. It was like trying to ride a wild animal, but once I found my rhythm, I felt like I was soaring across the water. The speed, the wind, and the sun on my face created an exhilarating sensation that left me grinning from ear to ear. I felt powerful, free, and connected to the ocean in a way I never had before. Kite Beach is truly a thrill-seeker’s paradise, and I can’t wait to go back and experience it again.
Paddleboarding
Paddleboarding is a great way to enjoy the water without getting too wet or scared. I like to start my day with a paddleboard session at Kite Beach. The water is usually calm and peaceful in the morning, and it’s a great time to see the city’s skyline. When you stand up on the board, you can see the whole city reflected in the water, and it’s really beautiful. It’s a great way to relax and feel connected to nature, even in the middle of a big city like Dubai. Give it a try and you might just find your new favorite way to spend the morning!
Jet Skiing
Jet skiing is another an awesome way to experience the thrill of speeding across the water! I love starting the engine and feeling the rush of the wind in my hair and the spray of the sea on my face. And when I’m racing against my friends, it’s like we’re in our own little competition! We’ll zoom through the waves, trying to outdo each other and have the most fun. Jet skiing is one of my favorite things to do at Kite Beach. It’s an amazing way to feel the rush of adrenaline and the excitement of competition. You should totally give it a try!
Playing Beach Volleyball
It’s not just about the water, there are tons of cool things to do on land too! One of my favorite things is playing beach volleyball. The courts are always super busy, but it’s so much fun joining in on a game and meeting new people. We’ll be laughing and cheering each other on, and it feels like we’re all part of a big team. Plus, the sand between your toes and the sound of the ball being hit is just the best!
Running
If you’re into running, Kite Beach has a super cool track that’s perfect for fitness enthusiasts. It’s right along the coastline, so you get to see the Arabian Gulf while you’re running. I love running in the morning or afternoon when the sun is rising or setting – it’s so beautiful! The track is well-maintained, and there are always other runners around, which makes it feel like a fun challenge. Plus, the sea breeze is so refreshing, it’s like a little boost of energy to keep you going.
Taste Shawarma
If you want to try some local flavors, you can find shawarma stands over the beach. They make these delicious wraps with tender meat, garlic sauce, and fresh veggies. It’s a great way to taste some Arab cuisine while you’re enjoying the beach. When you’re eating, you’ll hear people saying “بالهنا والشفا” (bilhana wa shifa), which means “enjoy your meal”. It’s the perfect way to cap off your Kite Beach adventure!
They have special areas just for kids, with swings, slides, and climbing structures. It’s so much fun to watch families have a blast together. Moms and dads can relax on the beach while the kids build sandcastles or play in the shallow water. And the best part is that the beach is super clean and safe, so you can feel comfortable letting your kids run around and have fun.
I love seeing families having a great time together at Kite Beach. It’s the perfect place for a family day out. You can bring a picnic, play some games, and just enjoy each other’s company. And with the beach’s clean and safe environment, you can relax and know that your kids are going to have a blast. So, if you’re looking for a fun and family-friendly spot, Kite Beach is the way to go.

Best time to Visit Kite Beach
The best time to visit is definitely during the cooler months, from October to April. The weather is perfect for outdoor activities like swimming, sunbathing, and playing in the sand. Plus, the beach is less crowded, so you can really enjoy the experience.
But even during the hotter months, there are still some great times to visit. Early mornings and late afternoons are a great time to escape the heat, and you can still have a blast at the beach. I personally love visiting just before sunset. The golden hour light is so beautiful, and it creates the perfect setting for an evening stroll along the beach. It’s like the whole beach is bathed in a warm, golden glow. So, whether you’re visiting during the cooler months or not, make sure to plan your trip around sunset – it’s definitely worth it!
